Serve Teams

Hospitality Team

Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests, hosting in the lobby, serving at coffee stations, directing traffic, and ushering guests to their seats. Our team ensures safety, answers questions, and celebrates life-changing decisions by praying with those who accept Christ.

Care Team

The purpose of the this team is to facilitate the move of the Holy Spirit in individuals in corporate gatherings and in personal interactions. The purpose is to release God's love and power toward those who indicate a desire for prayer and to bless, strengthen, encourage, and comfort.

Media  Team

Our team uses our gift of administration to support AVL City Church through internal and external communications, graphics, and social media for organizational duties and special events. 

Missions Team (local)

Missions is about extending God’s love beyond the walls of weekly worship gatherings. We look for opportunities to share hope, build community, and make a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom.

AVL City Music

Our talented musicians lead worship with passion, energy, and creativity, blending classic hymns, modern worship, and original songs by AVL City Church. We foster a community of artists and songwriters, pursuing God’s heart and creating an atmosphere where people can encounter His presence.

Production Team

Our team helps create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. They oversee the operation of the cameras, lights, screens, lyrics, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage and online.

AVL Kids Team

Shape the next generation by sharing the Gospel through Bible stories, songs, and activities that build kids’ faith. We create fun, engaging experiences while empowering parents to continue faith-building at home.

Events Team

Plan, organize, and execute events that meet their goals and create memorable experiences. From logistics to post-event evaluation, we ensure every detail—venue, catering, transportation, and security—comes together seamlessly.
